The Buffalo Bills will attempt Monday night against the Patriots to do what they haven't done this century on Monday Night Football: win.
It's been more than 16 years since the Bills came away from a nationally-televised Monday night game with a victory, having lost their past four MNF games: 2009 at New England, 2008 vs. Cleveland, 2007 vs. Dallas and 2000 at Indianapolis.
The Bills' last MNF win came on Oct. 4, 1999, when the Dan Marino-led Dolphins' late comeback bid fell short against Doug Flutie and the Bills. In addition to Marino, two other Hall of Famers were playing that day: wide receiver Andre Reed and defensive end Bruce Smith, who were both in their final seasons in Buffalo.
