KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Buffalo Bills tweeted Friday that their game Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs would be "win or go home," adding in a promotional video, "the playoffs start now."
The Bills did not win, and now they'll be going home with a losing record after collapsing in a 30-22 loss to the Chiefs. It might have been a playoff-type game, but it's as close as Buffalo will get to the postseason. They won't sniff the playoffs with the way they played Sunday.
After taking a 10-point lead in the first quarter and quieting a sparse, rain-soaked crowd at Arrowhead Stadium, the Bills allowed the Chiefs to claw back and take a lead because of a series of defensive lapses, offensive mistakes, special-teams errors and poor game-management decisions.
