The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they’ve designated WR Marcus Easley as a post-June 1 release.
Easley, 29, is in the second year of his four-year, $7 million contract that included $2.2 million guaranteed and was set to make a base salary of $1.1 million for the 2017 season.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Easley will free up $1.45 million of available cap space while creating $425,000 in dead money.
His 2015 season came to an end after he suffered a dislocated his kneecap and broke his knee in three different places.
