Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week following his dominating performance against the New England Patriots in Week 17. Douglas was an early and often headache for Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe, who sent a pair of footballs Douglas’ way. In total, Douglas claimed two interceptions, returning one 40 yards for a very big touchdown — a score that proved to be the game-deciding points.
Douglas noted that he likely should have had a third pick of Zappe, which instead went to defensive tackle Ed Oliver who made a diving catch off of Douglas’ tip drill.
