The National Football League announced today that Bills CB Nickell Robey-Coleman was named AFC defensive player of the week for his Week Five performance against the Los Angeles Rams. Robey’s award winning day helped lead the Bills to a 30-19 win.
With Robey-Coleman earning the honor for Week Five and Zach Brown being named the Week Four DPOW, the Bills have won back-to-back DPOW awards for the first time since 1991 when Cornelius Bennett and Nate Odomes earned back-to-back honors—also in Weeks Four and Five.
