Buffalo stormed out to a 10-0 lead after two straight three and outs by the defense and long drives by the offense. However, the Bills had plenty of chances to put the game out of reach in the first half, and they did not. For the second week in a row the Bills could not capitalize on their opportunities, and there were plenty.
The Chiefs forced a Dan Carpenter field goal after stopping the Bills on 3rd and 4 from the 9 yard line. LeSean McCoy fumbled at the Kansas City 30 yard line on the second drive of the game.
