Bills HC Sean McDermott told reporters on Sunday that former second-round LB Reggie Ragland is fighting for a roster spot right now, per Mike Rodak.
McDermott added that Ragland “needs to continue to work hard and show us what he can do,” per Joe Buscaglia.
There has been some question about how Ragland would fit into the team’s new 4-3 defense and it appears as though these concerns were warranted. Beyond that, Ragland has come up as a potential trade candidate, so this could be something to keep an eye on in the coming days as teams get ready to cut their rosters down to 53 players by next weekend.
