On the latest episode of Billieve: A Buffalo Bills Fan Podcast, host John Boccacino removes his customary rose-colored glasses to offer his worst-case scenarios for the Buffalo Bills in the upcoming season.
On this week’s episode, Boccacino views the Bills’ 2019 season through a pessimistic lens, exploring all the ways Buffalo’s season could get derailed: among the ways the season could go off the tracks:
- Josh Allen failing to build upon the momentum from the final six games of the regular season (or Allen suffering an injury from running too much)
- The wide receivers not taking a step forward, with surprise breakout Robert Foster regressing to his undrafted rookie status, Zay Jones failing to correct his issue with drops, and Cole Beasley failing to gain adequate separation as a slot receiver
- The offensive line failing to gel as a unit with seven new faces vying for time on the line
- The lack of a pass rush, particularly if an injury befalls Jerry Hughes, the team’s best and most consistent pass rusher
- Inconsistent play from the rest of the cornerbacks not named Tre’Davious White.
