On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D’Amico take a look at how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the upcoming Buffalo Bills training camp, set to begin July 28 at the team’s training camp facilities in Orchard Park, N.Y.
On Friday, just four days before the start of training camp, the NFL and the NFLPA approved changes to the league’s Collective Bargaining Agreement in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Included in the agreement: drastic changes to training camp, a comprehensive plan for testing players for COVID-19, no preseason games, the expansion of practice squad rosters, player opt-outs for the 2020 season over health concerns, and the impact on the salary cap, both in 2020 and beyond.
