Safety is considered to be a position of need for the Buffalo Bills this offseason. Last year, the Bills best safety, Aaron Williams, suffered a neck injury in week 2 against the Patriots. He re-injured his neck again week 5 and did not play for the rest of the season.
According to Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News, Bills general manager, Doug Whaley, indicated that Williams would have been able to return for the playoffs when he said “Everything we heard, if we would’ve made the playoffs today, they would’ve put him in there and activated.
