Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach David Culley has apparently been hired by the Baltimore Ravens, according to that team’s press release on Tuesday afternoon. Culley, who spent the last two seasons as Buffalo’s QB coach, was offered a quasi-promotion to Assistant Head Coach/Receivers/Passing Coordinator with the Ravens.
Until he signed on with the Bills, the only job Culley held from 1991 through 2016 was wide receivers coach with various college and professional teams. The Bills shook up their offensive staff this year by firing their offensive line and wide receivers coaches, and given the need to professionally develop Josh Allen heading into his second season, replacing Culley with a more experienced quarterbacks coach was definitely an option on the table.
