Schobel, the Bills second all-time leader in sacks, moved back to his hometown in Texas after his playing days were done in 2009, but the 39-year-old hasn’t forgotten about his adopted home hundreds of miles away.
“I really always enjoyed Buffalo. I’m from a small town, so being able to play in that area of Orchard Park, I couldn’t of gotten anymore lucky. I miss the seasons. In Texas, it’s either hot or windy,” Schobel said. “When I was drafted by Buffalo I really had no clue anything about the city. I played against all the other teams in their stadiums and I wouldn’t have chosen any of them over Buffalo, I know that.
