Impending free agent TE Austin Sefarian-Jenkins says he’s hoping to return to the Jets next year and continue his career in New York.
“I got my life going in the right direction in this city,” Seferian-Jenkins said, via Connor Hughes of NJ.com. “It’s the city that gave me an opportunity when I was down and out. It’s a place I feel like I fit in, I belong. I would love to be here a long time.”
The Jets took a chance on Sefarian-Jenkins when they claimed him off of waivers, despite the fact that the Buccaneers had cut him loose following a DUI arrest.
