A James Cook extension is not in the Bills’ immediate plans according to Brandon Beane

As we are just a couple of weeks away from the NFL draft, teams are starting to turn their attention to the prospects and the big board. The Buffalo Bills are no exception to this, even if it means putting some contract negotiations on hold.

On Sunday at the NFL owners meetings, general manager Brandon Beane was asked for an update when it comes to contract extensions with running back James Cook. Beane said the two sides had conversations earlier in the offseason but couldn’t get a deal done. The team then turned their focus to getting four other extensions done instead.
