The Buffalo Bills utilize a heavy rotation along their defensive line. While they have a definitive packing order in terms of which players take the most snaps, it’s not uncommon for the Bills to work eight or nine players into a game along the defensive line.
Given that level of rotation, it’s imperative that the Bills have a deep roster full of players who can step in and take at least 25% of the team’s defensive snaps over the course of a season. At defensive tackle, that means the team needs to employ two types of player.
