The Buffalo Bills didn’t make a huge splash in free agency this year. New head coach Sean McDermott and outgoing general manager Doug Whaley stuck to filling depth positions and special teams contributors, although they did grab a couple of starters in the secondary. One of those guys spent the first four years of his career in the NFC North, where he gained experience playing in frigid weather while showing off a diverse skill set that made him an obvious target for the Bills.
