The Buffalo Bills addressed their pass rush in the first two rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft, selecting defensive ends Gregory Rousseau 30th overall and Carlos Basham at 61. They worked the other side of the ball with their third selection, tapping Northern Iowa OT Spencer Brown.
Brown is a very athletic offensive tackle who steps in as the immediate backup swing tackle, replacing Ty Nsekhe. He could potentially be the replacement for Daryl Williams down the line, but at 6’8” and change, he’s not going to pop inside to an interior role. He has only been playing on the offensive line for four years (or less than that if you leave out his skipped senior season).
