The Buffalo Bills completed a double-double in the 2021 NFL Draft, picking two offensive tackles after starting the weekend by drafting two defensive ends. Miami of Ohio’s left tackle, Tommy Doyle, was their pick with the 161st overall choice in the fifth round.
Doyle, a two-time first-team All-MAC player, started 30 games at both right and left tackle for Miami (Ohio). Like Spencer Brown picked before him, Doyle is a massive player and a tremendous athlete - he stands 6’8” 320 pounds, and had a 33.5” vertical at his pro day.
Doyle is likely another project lineman, almost certainly a “best player available” choice, and fills up the depth chart a little more.
