Buffalo Bills special teams ace Steve Tasker won’t be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020. He was eliminated in the cut down from 25 modern era semi-finalists to 15 finalists this week.
While this marks the seventh time Tasker has been a semifinalist, it was the first time since 2013 and it came in his final year of eligibility. His candidacy will now move to the Senior Committee. Tasker retired in 1997 and has 25 years to be enshrined through the regular process. He has just a couple more shots for regular enshrinement.
