The Buffalo Bills have announced that they signed offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle to a one-year contract. Waddle, 27, is entering his seventh NFL season after 2.5 seasons with the Detroit Lions and 3.5 with the New England Patriots.
The 6’6” 315 pound Waddle has appeared in 61 games and started 31 over his NFL career. Originally an undrafted free agent from Texas Tech, where he started three-plus seasons as a left tackle, Waddle’s been slotted as a right tackle since turning pro.
With this signing, the Bills could literally field a five-man front with the free agent offensive linemen they’ve added in 2018: Offensive tackles Ty Nsekhe and Waddle, guards Spencer Long and Jon Feliciano, and center Mitch Morse.
