The Buffalo Bills are interested in adding a veteran tight end, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Former New Orleans Saints tight end Ben Watson recently retired but is considering offers from the Bills in addition to the New England Patriots (another former team) and the San Francisco 49ers.
Watson was with the Patriots from 2004 to 2009, overlapping with Bills’ offensive coordinator Brian Daboll who was the wide receivers coach from 2002-2006. They were together in Cleveland in 2010 when Daboll was the Browns’ offensive coordinator.
