To close out their 2019 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills have drafted Boston College tight end Tommy Sweeney. This is the second tight end the Buffalo Bills have drafted this weekend. Sweeney joins Mississippi’s Dawson Knox, end veterans Tyler Kroft and Jason Croom.
While Knox is a dynamic athlete with all-around potential, Sweeney is considered to have a lower ceiling. The 6’4” 251 pounder ran a 4.83 forty yard dash at the NFL Combine. Sweeney started three seasons for the Eagles, and caught 32 passes for 348 yards and three touchdowns in 2018.
