The Buffalo Bills needed a tremendous injection of talent on offense, specifically at the wide receiver position. After relying on lumbering players like Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes to little success, the Bills decided they would use smaller, quicker players to gain separation in space. In just a little over a calendar year, the Bills have brought in 12 new receivers, leaving only Zay Jones as a wideout who was on the roster prior to April 2018.
While the team has certainly emphasized smaller receivers lately, that doesn’t mean they haven’t sought some size at the position.
