To call the quarterback situation for the 2018 Buffalo Bills a disaster would not accurately depict the mess that occurred at the position. Due to a confluence of poor planning and bad luck, the Bills actually managed to start two quarterbacks whom they had signed less than two weeks prior to making their first start. The team also released its opening-day starter, who only lasted one half of one game anyway, midway through the season.
The positives around Josh Allen and his development took away some of the sting, but the quarterback situation last year was bad.
