It was clear throughout the 2018 season that the Buffalo Bills lacked weapons on the outside.
Training camp provided a few glimpses into the type of passing game we would have during the season, but the group overall was never setup to help out any of the quarterbacks on the roster – especially a rookie with lots of growth needed to be successful.
The Bills’ three starting receivers to open up the season against the Baltimore Ravens were Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones and Jeremy Kerley. By no means was that one of the best in the league, but there was a mix of experience and youth that had some promise to it.
