In the 4th round of the NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills took cornerback Taron Johsnon out of Weber State.
Johnson is a 5’11” defensive back who was named an All-American by the Associated Press and earned first-team Big Sky honors in 2017. During his senior season he had two sacks, three tackles for loss, three interceptions and nine pass break ups in his senior season.
“Johnson wasn’t highly recruited out of high school as a receiver, and he converted to cornerback in his freshman season at Weber State. He started five games that year, then started at cornerback for three more years.
