San Diego's Offense Is Still Underrated
Every year, the expectations for San Diego's offense are almost comically low, and every year, Philip Rivers keeps finding ways to get it done. So far in the first half, Rivers is 12/15 for 183 yards and a touchdown.
Buffalo Needs More From The Ground Game
Between CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson and EJ Manuel, the Bills have the tools to hurt other teams on the ground. The ground attack worked well in Buffalo's first two games, but the Chargers held the Bills to just 34 first-half rushing yards on 12 carries.
Woodhead Ankle Injury A Concern
Danny Woodhead left the game after tweaking his ankle early, and the Chargers will miss his grit and versatility on offense. Woodhead rebounded well from a poor week one performance with a huge game against the Seahawks last weekend, and we'll have more on his status on our San Diego Chargers team page.
Penalties Slowing It Down
The refs certainly haven't been shy about throwing flags so far in this one, with a combined 10 penalties for 74 yards between the two teams. The Bills will be more frustrated given the way flags have hurt their momentum, but neither team will be happy with their first-half discipline.
