Zagoria: Long Island Nets to name Bret Brielmaier as head coach

The Long Island Nets have named Bret Brielmaier their new head coach, according to Adam Zagoria of Forbes Sports.

Brielmaier served as a Nets assistant coach since 2016, focusing on player development. He was Jacque Vaughn’s lead assistant in the “bubble.” Before joining the Nets, Brielmaier was an assistant with the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning a ring with the LeBron James and Kyrie Irving-led Cavs in 2016.
