You think Knicks have drama? Check out the Cavaliers

CLEVELAND — The Nets go into free fall, nobody panics because it’s all part of the plan. But the Cavaliers hit one little skid, then everyone loses their mind.

The Nets kick off a three-game trip Friday in Cleveland, and will be getting a salty Cavaliers team — and by their standards, a struggling one. LeBron James and the defending NBA champions have lost six of eight games, the latest to sorry Sacramento on Wednesday. Oh, and there’s been drama — plenty of drama.

In the midst of James’ worst stretch since March 2011, his relationship with Cavaliers’ owner Dan Gilbert has reportedly become frayed over what the franchise player views as a hesitation to spend, underscored by a profane rant this week.
