WNBA FINALS Game 3: Liberty and Lynx at turning point of best-of-five series

I am not going to lie to you guys…. I’m pretty nervous.

Let’s flashback to the semi-finals vs. the Las Vegas Aces. The first two games were glorious. The Liberty shared the ball at a high level, the defensive switching largely put a halt to the Aces offense, and while Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu put on a show, other players contributed by doing the little things that are required to win a basketball game (like Leonie Fiebich stepping into the starting lineup).

But then came Game 3, where chaos erupted.

All of a sudden, the Aces started blitzing pick-and-rolls more aggressively, shots were falling in their favor, and the energy of the crowd shook the Liberty so much that they started to play a brand of basketball that was nonexistent all season, which was timidly.
