C.J. Holmes of the Daily News wrote this weekend about what we might see from Jordi Fernandez’s offense. Noting that Fernandez will be a head coach for the first time, Holmes writes that despite that there are clues in what he did with the Sacramento Kings where he was effectively Mike Brown’s offensive coordinator.
Holmes notes that the Brooklyn Nets offense last year was not what the Sacramento Kings offense has been the last two years, far from it. In that period, the Kings have finished first and 13th, the 2022-23 rating being the highest offensive rating in NBA history at 118.
