The Nets have lost three straight, the last to a sorry Knicks team without All-Star Kristaps Porzingis, minus lottery pick Kevin Knox and with noted Nets-killer Enes Kanter coming off the bench.

If the Nets (2-5) don’t want to see that skid hit four, five or even six, they’ll need to make sure they’re not wallowing in a pity party and ensure their minds are right Wednesday when they tip off a three-game homestand with games against the Pistons, Rockets and 76ers.

“Nobody is going to feel sorry for us. That’s the NBA,” Ed Davis said. “You’ve just got to take it one game at a time.
