The Brooklyn Nets have signed Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, a 6’7” wingman, to their final two-way contract, the team announced Wednesday,hours before their home opener. Luwawu-Cabarrot is the Nets second and final two-way signing, joining Henry Ellenson, the 6’11” power forward who was signed in July. Their roster now stands at 17, the max.
The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Luwawu-Cabarrot to a training camp deal last month, then cut him a week ago. Luwawu-Cabarrot played with the Thunder and Bulls and last season, putting in limited minutes with OKC before being traded to Chicago, where he played 29 games, starting six of them.
