Tony Brown just as confused as you about Nets’ collapses

The Nets’ return home after a record nine-game road trip was a clunker, blowing a seven-point fourth-quarter lead Sunday to Milwaukee. One would think getting right back on the horse Tuesday against the sorriest team in basketball would be a good thing, except they’ve lost to the 76ers the past two times they’ve met.

These late-game collapses certainly aren’t new, but interim coach Tony Brown is at a loss to explain what happens to his team when the chips are down.

“I don’t have an answer for that question, but it’s clear that we struggle in the latter parts of games when we’ve played well enough to win,’’ Brown said.
