The Nets have not given a timetable for Robinson's return, though that will likely be determined following surgery. Robinson, 24, signed a two-year, $2.2 million deal in Brooklyn this offseason, which features a player option for 2016-17.
The former No. 5 overall pick is headed for his fifth franchise in four seasons.
