Thomas Robinson has surgery, to be ready for training camp

The Nets issued a medical update Wednesday on Thomas Robinson following arthroscopic surgery on a meniscus tear in his right knee.

Bottom line, according to the update. "Robinson, who was injured on Tuesday while working out in New York City, will begin rehab immediately and will be ready for on-court activities before the start of training camp."

Robinson underwent the knife at the Hospital for Special Surgery, the Nets official hospital. The surgery was performed by Nets’ Medical Director Dr. Riley Williams III.

Meanwhile, the Argentine media is reporting that the Nets second round pick, Juan Pablo Vaulet, underwent surgery, also in New York, on Tuesday to repair a stress fracture to the tibia in his right leg.
