Theo Pinson’s transition from college facilitator to G League go-to guy continued Friday night but the Canton Charge, the Cavs affiliate, beat the Long Island Nets, 118-117. Pinson, the 6’7” swingman, finished with 30 points, seven assists and four rebounds. He’s now averaging 20 points a game in the G League, twice what he averaged at North Carolina last season.
Pinson finished 8-of-23 overall, 3-of-11 from three and 11-of-11 from the foul line. It was his second 30+ game in a little more than a week. He scored 43 against Maine on January 10.
