ATLANTA — The chances of the Nets winning four of five games against the Hawks — who won 60 games to pace the Eastern Conference in the regular season and have won all five meetings between the teams this season — are slim.
So if the Nets want to give themselves a realistic opportunity to make this first-round series competitive, they’re going to have to be more judicious with the ball and more decisive in their offense.
“You have to catch and attack, or catch and move the ball,” Joe Johnson said after practice at Georgia Tech on Tuesday, citing something the Nets have repeatedly said they need to do.
