The complications facing Nets’ dream Irving-Durant scenario

All signs point to Kyrie Irving coming to Brooklyn.

Kevin Durant? It’s complicated.

Nets general manager Sean Marks has long been clearing a path toward a dream duo of Irving and Durant. The former seems likelier than the latter.

The Post had reported Irving was strongly leaning toward Brooklyn, and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday that the guard would meet with the Nets on Sunday — free agency tips off at 6 p.m. — and both sides are looking to quickly iron out a four-year, $141 max deal.
It would be a coup for the Nets to land the All-NBA guard despite interest from the Lakers.
