When Joe Harris won the 3-point contest at All-Star Weekend, he was the picture of stoicism. But with the 26-year-old on pace to become the first Net to ever win the league’s 3-point shooting title, make no mistake, it would mean a lot to him.
“It would mean a lot, just because that’s sort of my shtick,” Harris told The Post. “That’s what I do. In baseball if you’re the batting champion, it’s essentially like that. This is why I’m in the NBA, because of my ability to shoot the ball. It’s not like I’m wowing people with my athleticism or my ball-handling ability, this and that.
