ATLANTA — No endgame woes, or late collapse like the Nets had against Miami on Sunday. This was a laugher for Brooklyn, an easy win in which they led at the break and closed out a struggling foe the way a good team is supposed to.
The Nets cruised to a 130-118 victory over the Hawks at State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.
It marked Kenny Atkinson’s first game as now the longest-tenured coach in New York, fittingly coming in Atlanta where he spent four years as an assistant before taking over the Nets in 2016.
It was also Taurean Prince’s first game back against his old club, and he excelled against the team that traded him away.
