SHANGHAI — After all the rancor and the rhetoric, the ideological clash between communism and democracy, the Nets and Lakers finally got down to playing some basketball Thursday in China.
And it was a show, the Nets pulling out a 114-111 come-from-behind win over the star-studded Lakers in a game that had been very much in question just hours before tipoff.
“Right now from the Nets’ standpoint it’s business as usual,” Nets owner Joe Tsai told The Post this week. “We’re here to play basketball, we’re here to entertain the fans and develop our affinity with the Chinese fans.
