Spencer Dinwiddie’s extraordinary year continues.
The Nets announced Thursday night that although “Spencer Dinwiddie NBAVote” failed, Brooklyn’s point guard has been selected to the NBA Skills Challenge.
Part of NBA All-Star Weekend, the Skills Challenge will take place on February. 17 at Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET. The invitation will have special meaning for the 24-year, who’s a native of nearby Woodland Hills.
A month ago, during the NBA Vote campaign, Dinwiddie expressed gratitude to the fans who voted for him and expressed a desire to play in the Skills Challenge.
