Guard Spencer Dinwiddie made a bold decision in December of 2018. He ultimately chose to sign a three-year, $34 million extension with the Brooklyn Nets, the same team that would eventually make a splash and sign superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Dinwiddie will now be a part of an organization trending in the right direction. Brooklyn can become a contender in the Eastern Conference for years to come with the assets they currently have.
Speaking on the “Back To Back” podcast with Shams Charania of The Athletic, Dinwiddie revealed how Irving actually contacted him regarding free agency as early as December.
