The Nets were tough to watch for most of last year. Even when they were playing well, their games looked like such a slow, unraveling bore.
They played slow. They didn't have much flash other than the occasional late-season dunk from Markel Brown. But Brooklyn transformed its roster to a degree over the offseason.
The Nets brought in two athletic, first-round rookies in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Chris McCullough, though it's possible they never integrate McCullough, who is coming off an ACL tear, into their rotation. They signed a few low-risk, high-reward athletes.
