Injuries are horrible, but unfortunately they’re apart of the game. When the Brooklyn Nets lost their leader and starting point guard Jarrett Jack for the season with a Torn ACL it gave the starting point guard job to Shane Larkin. Larkin has done a great job this year as the backup point guard and the 23 year old has the chance to take the starting job and run with it.
Larkin started in his first game of the season on Monday versus the Boston Celtics. Larkin had a horrendous game, in a Nets loss to Boston. Larkin scored just 4 points, to go with 2 assists and 2 rebounds in 27 minutes of action.
