As the Brooklyn Nets look to bring in a new culture next season, one good sign of better times to come was brought forth in an interview this week. Speaking with the Russian media this past week, Sergey Karasev’s father said that his son won’t play for the Nets next season. While he initially showed promise as a first round pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Karasev was never able to assert himself as a fan favorite during his time in Brooklyn.
Karasev will be remembered for two things that happened during his tenure with the Nets; First was a big injury during the 2014-15 season in which he tore his MCLl and was out for the rest of the season.
