ALBANY – The Nets suffered yet another injury on Saturday’s against the 76ers, when rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson exited in the fourth quarter with a sprained right ankle.
Hollis-Jefferson was chasing down an overthrown pass by backup center Chris Daniels when his ankle appeared to give out on him, and he immediately went down in a heap and grabbed at it.
The entire team came over to check on Hollis-Jefferson, who eventually got up and walked off under his own power. He was accompanied on his walk off the court by athletic trainer Tim Walsh, who helped him back to the team’s locker room.
