Ronald Nored, the highly regarded coach of the Long Island Nets, will be leaving the Nets organization to take a job as an assistant coach with the Hornets under newly hired head coach, James Borrego.

Charlotte is hiring Ronald Nored as an assistant coach on James Borrego's staff, league sources tell ESPN. Nored was Brooklyn's G-League head coach for the past year.

Borrego, an assistant to Gregg Popovich for several years, was hired earlier this month and is putting together his staff.
