ATLANTA — It’s fair to say Brook and Robin Lopez have a unique relationship.
The twin brothers, despite both being starting centers in the NBA — and in the same city, with Brook playing for the Nets and Robin for the Nets — never talk about basketball. In fact, Brook said the last time he had seen Robin even play in a game was when the Nets faced his brother’s old team, the Trail Blazers, last season.
They don’t even see each other all that often, though they did go to Game 5 of the World Series together Sunday — a trip Brook said almost didn’t happen.
